Yay for blogger! Mom loves looking at blogs and has asked me several times to help her with a blogger. This is a great idea as our family is growing and our lives are changing everyday... but now we can all keep in touch with The Coil Family official blog! Here is a quick update on everyone's lives. Dad is working very hard as usual and also playing hard. He loves to load is boat and kayak up and head off for a weekend adventure to the mountains, lakes, and rivers. He also loves to take his family to Pineview and works very hard to make these trips fun. He loves his grandkids so much, and they definitely love to spend time with their grandpa. Dad still works in the Bountiful Temple every Tuesday and Thursday night as a sealer. Thousands of lives have been blessed because of his faithfulness to his callings. Thanks Dad! And thanks for helping us have "no empty chairs"! Mom, where to start? Oh how we LOVE her! Mom really is what makes our lives go round. Mom just got a new part time job working for Dr. Dastrupt as his receptionist. Mom also still teaches gospel doctrine with Dad. Everyone, yes everyone, loves loves LOVES her lessons. The spirit is always so strong when she is teaching. I guess this is why she just got her new calling to be the Viewmont High School early morning seminary teacher!!! I am sooo excited for her and we all know she will do a great job! Her students will love her! Mom is always busy on the phone talking with her ten children and nine grandchildren! Even if we don't have anything to talk about, we all love to just talk with her! She truly knows how to brighten our days and never ends a conversation without making us laugh. The Coil children are so lucky that Kaylee Coil is their mother!!! We are indeed blessed. We can't imagine life any other way.
Moving on to the coolest children in the world...
Aubrey and Chris are enjoying the summer and their new home in Hooper! Aubrey is super busy with her calling as primary president and a mom of 4! Preston, Madi, Abbie, and Luke are adorable as ever, and we all love it when we get the chance to spend time with them.
Andy and Shay just moved to Ohio, yes that is 1,827 miles away from good ol' C-ville! :( We miss them so much and especially miss Porter, Carlee, and now Tessa. Andy will be there for the next four years to finish up his Emergency Medicine Residency. Shay is a great mom and their new house is sooo cute! Ohio is a pretty place, and I'm sure Andy and Shay will make great memories, but oh how we miss them.
Mike and Erin still live in married housing at the U. Mike only has about a year left of the engineering program, and then he will be an official engineer! Emry is so cute, and she is getting so big! Everytime we see her, she is doing more and more things. It is always fun to be around them. Erin is pregno, yay, and due in January.
D and Jake! Jake is working EXTRA hard right now as a landscaper as it is summer! D is keeping busy playing with Sammie and attending Cherry Hill. Sammie is our little firecracker, and always has a smile on her face! We love to be around Sammie and have conversations with her. We also love to listen to her read, read, read, read... And read some more! D is pregnant with a little boy, Cameron who will be here in September! I am so excited as D is such a great mom!
Caleb and I (Lauren) are still living the fairytale life in Orem! We have just been married a little over 2 months, and we could not be happier. We are both working a little and playing A LOT! We love not having to say goodbye at night! We also love our ward and were just called to be the Sunbeam teachers!
Grandma and Max are still best friends... We hope that when one dies, the other will soon die as well! Grandma always makes me laugh. She is so sweet and no one could count the hours she's put forth to make our lives better. We all appreciate the many blankets she has made and keeps making! We love you Grandma!
Well that pretty much sums everything up! The Coil Fam in a nutshell! I truly believe we have the greatest family on Earth, and we couldn't imagine life any other way. Yay for Eternal families! The happiest moments in our lives are the times when we're all together. We especially love it when Mom is laughing so hard she's going to pee her pants, Dad has to leave the room, Grandma looks likes she's crying but she's laughing, and Shay's laughing so hard she starts to snort! Good times, good times!
