Yes, I am going to sponsor a quote contest and guess what you win...chocolate, of course. So here goes. There are absolutely no rules. You can submit as many quotes as you like. I get to decide who wins. And I get to decide what you win. Knowing me, there will be no losers. Anyone who submits a quote will get chocolate, so why not join the friendly competition. This way, with everyone getting a prize, you can never say that you never won anything. Once in everyone's life they should win and this is your opportunity. To get you started, here is a quote I recently heard. I have no idea where or when I heard it. In fact it may have come from one of the blogs I follow. So if I'm copying you, I'm sorry, but then again, if you respond with a quote, you win.
NOTHING MAKES HOME FEEL LIKE HEAVEN MORE THAN HAVING SOMEONE FROM HOME IN HEAVEN
Now it's your turn!!!!!!
P.S. If you are an out of towner, include your address so the prize can be sent straight to you.

When D. was in Jr. High, her favorite original quote was, "The biggest shelf in my room is my floor".
Good ol' Abe said: And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
Another one of Abe Lincoln: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
My grandmother said: My nose itches, some 'uns comin' with a hole in their britches.
My dad used to say: Half a chocolate doughnut shared with someone you love is twice as good as a whole doughnut eaten all alone.
Matthew's sister, Debbie, gave me a quote that said, "Sooner or later we all quote our mothers".
One of our favs came from Jason's great grandpa
"Take your time going, but hurry back."
Another that we like is:
"In this world there are two kinds of people, those we love and those we haven't met yet"
Also:
"I believe in God like I believe in the sun - not because I can see it, but because of it all things are seen" -C S Lewis
Thanks for doing this. I love hearing new quotes.
What a fun post!
"Creativity is knowing how to hide your sources" -Albert Einstein
"Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it" -Bill Cosby
K...this is cheesy but I've always loved it.
"No man is worth your tears, and when you find one that is he won't make you cry."
(It works on sad teenagers that have been dumped :)
"Stressed spelled backwards is desserts! Coincidence? I think not." Author unknown.

“The greatest danger for most of us lies in not setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” **Michelangelo
O.K. I have to admit, most of my favorite quotes are from J. Golden Kimball.
"Cut me off from the church? They can't do that! I repent too damn fast."
There is nothing better than getting quotes from a 90 yr old. Give Shay and the kids a hug for me. Give my chocolate to one of the grandkids.

Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
When in doubt, just take the next small step.
Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
Over prepare, then go with the flow.
Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
Always choose life.
What other people think of you is none of your business.
Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
Believe in miracles.
God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
Your children get only one childhood.
Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,we'd grab ours back.
Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
What goes up must come down.
What goes around comes around.
And my most favorite.
He's so confused he doesn't know whether to scratch his watch or wind his butt.
