Conference Sunday waffles are a time honored tradition with Kay Lee and Matthew. Aubrey and Chris hosted this April. I do all the mixing and fixing.
Egg whites are a big part of the process, separating and beating them into the perfect stiffness,
Lauren helped with the mixer, Caleb did the drinks, Jake cooked the bacon and sausage and Chris did 36 scrambled eggs with cheese. Everyone helped out as we listened to the talks.
Using just the right amount of batter is important to not making a mess. Some people like them light and others like their waffles cooked a dark brown. No matter how they turn out, someone is always willing to eat the next one.
We had three waffle irons cooking, everyone was in such good spirits. The little ones know the routine and they were excited.
Lukee likes his with strawberries and lots of whipped cream. Yum. We do this every conference Sunday, and on New Years day, and sometimes at the cabin in the summer.

I think I should be banned from the family, I am a pancake and french toast person. The fruit looks so yummy.
