The Tylers looking GOOD!

So two weeks ago I called Madison and asked her if she would like to go on a shopping trip with a personal shopper. "Sure, grandma, what's a personal shopper?" (She is really one of us, she doesn't care what we are doing as long as it involves shopping) So Aubrey, Madison and Abigal met me and D. at the mall and D. took Madison on a shopping trip. She helped her pick out several very cute outfits, while I helped Abbie. We even got them new shoes for their new back-to-school clothes. We had so much fun, but Aubrey had me bring the clothes home, because she knew the girls would wear them as soon as they got home rather than wait for the first day of school. Anyway, I brought their new clothes home with me. The next day they all came for Sunday dinner and they did a fashion show for Grandma Great to show her their new clothes. They were so cute that I told Aubrey and Chris we should do a family shoot at Mueller Park. So off we went...and now they are posted on the blog, thanks to Lauren who showed me how to do it. She thinks I can do it on my own now, but I'm sure the first time I try to do something on the blog without her here, I will erase everything. So enjoy it while you can, because it may not be here for long. Shay, you should be so proud of me. I actually added a slide show and wrote two posts all in one evening. I think I deserve chocolate!

True Lies

So one of the fun parts of having adult children is when they get together and the truth about their lies start to come out;) Like when Andy and Mike spoke at their mission farewells and we found out how the suburban had an extra 400 hundred miles on it after sitting in the garage all night...?

Aubrey, Chris, P, M, A, and L, along with D. and Sami, Matthew and I went to Pineview on Friday night for an end of summer, last day playing in the sand, riding the wave runner, party. I was sitting on the beach with Aubrey and Danielle and D. told Aub, "Remember the time I got a big box with thousands of little beads for a birthday present and I told you 18 month old Preston spilled them and I made you clean them up and put each color back into its own little area, well, really I spilled them." Yes, eventually the truth will come out!

Got to love sisters who love each other.

I love my girls, all 5 of them and their 6 girls, plus Mike and Erin's little princess soon to join the Coil Clan.

Missing the Sealer

So yesterday Andy and I went to the Coloumbus, Ohio temple to do sealings. We were so excited for him to have the day off and have the opportunity to go to the temple. We left our house at 7:30 a.m. and met other friends at the church. It is about a two hour drive down, so we figured we had plenty of time to make our 11:00 a.m. session. Little did we know that we would run into a ton of traffic. Apparently one of the presidential canidates is here and Ohio State had a football game. Anyway our bishop called the temple and they agreed to wait for us, yeah! So we arrived at the temple, hurried and changed, and made it into the session only 10 min late. As I walked into the room the sealer asked my name. I had to repeat it three times before he heard me. Immediatley I had to hold back the tears, I missed sealer Matthew Coil terribly. This happened a few times during the session. I remember sitting on the bench in the room staring at the sealers name tag trying to change it to Matthew Coil.

We as a family are so blessed to have Matthew and the opportunities to go to the temple and do sealings with him. Family, because you can, go to the temple and do sealings. The temple is an amazing place and can bless our lives and the lives of many others. Go, go, go!!!

Even though Matthew was not there, we still had a great experience. The Colombus temple is beautiful and small, a lot like Palmyra. Ohio is a great place, but there is no place like home.

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

Today is Mom and Dad's anniversary! We'd like to let them know how much we love them and admire them for creating such a fun, loving, caring, and amazing marriage! They treasure each other so much and treat each other so kindly. The first thing Dad does when he gets home is give Mom a huge hug and kiss. They are always giving each other cute looks and love to be by each other's side. D and I have fond memories of Mom and Dad dancing in the living room, rocking in the chairs on the front porch, and just simply holding hands while driving in the car. Their love for each other means a lot to each of us kids and they have definitely paved a good path to follow for each of us and our spouses. We are all so lucky to be sealed to Matthew and Kaylee Coil for time and eternity! We have the best parents in the entire world! We love you!

Notice the hand holding! :)

Grateful

So today in relief society the lesson talked about death and how lucky we are with this wonderful gospel that we know what happens when we die. The teacher who spoke talked about a friend that she has that has had three children die of SIDS. It made me think about the wonderful children we have in our family and how blessed we are that they are all so beautiful and healthy. Aubrey, D, and Erin, I want you to know how much I love your children. They are so sweet. Porter and Carlee miss them soooooo much. Lauren I cannot wait to see your children, you and Caleb will be wonderful parents.

The teacher also talked about her father who is not a member and who passed away just a few years ago. It really make me think about Grandpa Bush and how awesome it is that his temple work has already been done. I have so much work to do of my own that I know will not happen anytime soon, but I will do it one day. I also feel so blessed to have a wonderful example like Kay Lee who has done such wonderful work for her father, I know that one day I will do that for my own dad.

Anyway fam, I love you all and I miss our Sunday talks about what happened at church.
